Leah and Artem first met in February of 2020, when they first tried skating together. They immediately knew they were a good match, so they decided to form a partnership. Artem then moved to the United States a week later, and they have been skating together ever since. Throughout their partnership, they have enjoyed spending time together both on and off the ice. As Leah and Artem grew closer, they began to think about their relationship as more than just a skating partnership, and, in February of 2022, they went on their first date, having brunch and going to a movie. Their relationship continued to grow, leading to Artem’s proposal and their engagement. They went to a scenic location where they were going to just take some pictures together, and it was then that Artem surprised Leah by proposing. Of course, Leah said, “yes.” They are excited for their future, and cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together.
